I love cars, so having car parts on this site is important to me. These renders are based on a BMW alloy wheel that I picked out after looking through a lot of pictures (shown in the carousel to the right as "original reference"). It forced me to spend a lot of time figuring out the ins and outs of surfacing in SolidWorks. The skeleton of the wheel is made of several 3D splines. These are then stitched together with a bunch of surfaces.
