Mini LED Work Light (2017, in progress)

After leaving Wrightspeed, I worked on several personal projects. This one is an LED worklight, meant to be mounted around a workbench.

It runs a single LED at about 5W, using a constant-current buck converter. All the components mount to an aluminum PCB, under the lens assembly. It's designed to output about 300 lumens of warm white light in a 22 degree cone.

The diameter of the lens is 38mm, so it's compact. 1/4" Loc Line allows it to be pointed at the workpiece. During 5W (undimmed) operation, the PCB will be 95C right next to the LED.
